CLC Library is growing!

Why a library?

Acquiring knowledge is something that every Muslim is commanded to do. It is the avenue through which the path to success is made easy. The people of knowledge guide us through this journey in the books we have today. Through their books we are able to build a relationship with the scholars of the past, stand firm in the trials and tribulations of the present and have an eye towards the betterment of our condition in the future. A library that will cater for these needs is of paramount importance to our intellectual and spiritual growth.

Who will it benefit?

Our proposed library will house books that will facilitate the advancement of Islamic knowledge. This will begin with the students of CLC. We aim to provide a rich choice of books that will help our students truly excel in their learning. Further to this we wish to open our library to the general public who will be able to come for reading, study and research in a peaceful, Islamic environment in the company of scholars and students of knowledge and even borrow books to take home. Our collection will cover a wide range of subject matter, ranging from the most basic information through to advanced manuals and classical scholarly works. From children’s stories to Hadith literature, we aspire to meet all our members’ interests and needs.

How can I help?

This is truly a community effort. We need your help to make this library reach the highest possible standards. We urge you to help CLC by donating books or offering to buy books on our curriculum list. This will be a great act of sadaqah jariyah.
