The Men’s Islamic Sciences Course Enrollment has started!

Course Details:
The Men’s Islamic Sciences Course is a three-year progressive course offered to males aged 14 and over. Each level will run for one academic year.
Mandatory Prerequisites:
Students should be able to read, write, speak and understand English moderately.
Optional Requirements:
Any previous exposure to Islamic studies or intensive studies.
Course Description:
The course is taught in 2 semesters. Currently we offer the following subjects:
- Arabic Speaking
- Arabic Reading & Writing
- Arabic Grammar (Nahw)
- Arabic Grammar (Sarf)
- Aqidah
- Quran
- Hadith
- Fiqh
- Tajweed
- Seerah
Each subject is taught with an emphasis on obligatory acts and their necessary knowledge. Subjects are based around set textbooks and materials provided by the Centre.
Course Outcome:
At the end of the course students will be able to understand and apply what they have learnt into their daily life and become practicing Muslims.
Assessments:
Each student will have to sit four assessments each year. Each assessment will cover what they have been taught in that term. The students must attain over 40% on each assessment to progress to the next level.
Certification:
Upon successfully completing each level the students will be given a ‘Certificate of Completion’ and may progress to the next level.
